Community Service has always been important to me. My parents taught my siblings and me about the “Golden Rule” of treating everyone the way we want to be treated, and the importance of supporting and giving back to our communities.

UW Whitewater

This summer QWANtify is assisting UW-Whitewater by employing Professor Robert Horton as a consultant working with a local Madison corporation. During summers professors often obtain consulting opportunities to freshen their IT skills, enabling them to provide additional value to their students.

Why are smaller numbers of students enrolling in CIS degree programs?

I participate in the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Management Computer System’s Advisory Board, and Madison Area Technical College’s Information Technology-Web/Analyst Programmer Advisory Committee along with other Madison and Milwaukee information technology professionals.

How QWANtify Came into Existence

I’ve always been a driven person. I was a runner for 17 years, was on an adult women’s softball team at age 14, played in tennis tournaments at age 15, became involved in charitable activities in my early 20’s, and worked full-time while attending college.
