IT/Engineering Career Exploration at Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee
The IT/Engineering Career Exploration event, held at Harley-Davidson in conjunction with the Milwaukee Public Schools, was attended by several Milwaukee-area middle school students, faculty, guidance counselors and parents. The event is part of the on-going effort to educate students at a young age about the many information technology career possibilities for those who chose a management computer science vocation.
The audience was welcomed by Harley-Davidson, as the event host, and Mayor Tom Barrett. Students visited many information technology-related exhibits, including a robotics demonstration. They also participated in panel discussions. (22 May 22)
